Internship – Jewelry & Clothing Sampling / Brand Operations (Lumiyre, DTLA)

About Lumiyre
Lumiyre is a uni-sex jewelry brand dedicated to craft, design, and storytelling. Based in downtown Los Angeles, we bring together artistry and community through timeless jewelry and expanding into clothing design.
Internship Overview
This internship offers hands-on training in jewelry and clothing sampling, creative brand operations, and editorial production. Interns will work directly under the CEO and Operations Specialist, gaining practical experience in design processes, production support, and behind-the-scenes creative work, while building organizational and industry research skills.
What You’ll Learn
- The sampling process for jewelry and clothing, including material preparation and workflow organization
- Behind-the-scenes experience on editorial photoshoots and creative production planning
- Fundamentals of business operations in a creative brand
- Use of design and collaboration tools (Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Suite, and project management software like Notion)
- Techniques for creative problem solving and contributing original ideas within a collaborative team
- Social media strategy, ideation, and production
Responsibilities
- Assist in jewelry and clothing sampling prep, including cutting, labeling, and sorting materials
- Producing and creating founder-led social media content
- Executing PR and gifting campaigns for influencer outreach
- Help create casting boards and moodboards (physical and digital)
- Organize digital files and assist with studio operations
- Conduct deep research on local and international jewelry and fashion markets
- Shadow photoshoots and observe creative direction processes
- Offer creative input and collaborate with the team in brainstorming/problem-solving sessions
Requirements
- Current student or recent graduate in design, fashion, marketing, or related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Google Suite
- Familiarity with Notion or other PMIS (Project Management Information Systems) is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable with hands-on and repetitive tasks
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to learn about the jewelry/fashion industry
