LUMI:MART is the fourth collection from LUMIYRE, a grocery store built from the objects we handle every day and stop seeing. A soda can tab, a twist tie, a bread clip, a barcode sticker, each one recast in silver and held still long enough to be looked at again. The collection studies object permanence, the way a disposable thing can hold the same wonder we had for it as children, and asks what it means to keep what was made to be thrown away. Nine pieces, made in small batches, misremembered and brought back at an unfamiliar scale.
