The Perle Collection was the first collection for LUMIYRE. It explored natural forms such as pearls and wishbones, reimagined into a modular system for accessorizing. The Um and Mu pendants reference the brand logo, while the Fers chains became the base layer for most of the looks.

This collection also introduced our first use of non silver materials, incorporating freshwater pearls into necklaces and bracelets. These pieces were eventually phased out as we began pushing the brand further toward pure silver. The creative direction reflected the natural inspiration behind the designs, with imagery set around water, sky, and stone.

The Perle Collection also began the design motif of light. Since Lumiere translates to light in French, this idea guided many of the details. The Astre pendant features engraved stars, the rope chain used in the Fers was designed so light hits it differently along the twists, and the Um pendant has angular ridges that reflect light across the surface, creating a diamond cut effect. Even the freshwater pearls played a role in this idea. Their natural imperfections and subtle indents catch light in different ways, and their off white tone shifts depending on the lighting. These details may seem minor, but in jewelry it is often these small intentional choices that elevate a piece.
